What we collect

• Account details: name, email, phone, password (stored encrypted), profile picture.
• Member details: business name, ABN, licence number, service area, contact details you choose to show.
• Job posts: job details, location and the contact details you enter.
• Messages and reviews you send on Tooli.
• Billing: handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
• Ask Tooli chat: messages you type into the chat assistant are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to write a reply. We don't save chats to your account. Please don't share personal details in the chat.
• Waitlist: your name, email, suburb and (for tradies) trade, used only to tell you about Tooli's launch and founding offers. Unsubscribe any time.
• Quote requests: the name, contact details and job details you send from a tradie's page go to that tradie only.
• Apprentice profiles: trades, suburb, stage, about, cover letter and résumé. These are shown only to ABN- and licence-checked tradie and company members, never publicly. Phone numbers and emails are not shown; members contact apprentices through Tooli messages. If you're under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian knows you're using Tooli.
• “Get more jobs” enquiries: your contact and business details, used to contact you about our marketing services.
• Problem reports about a tradie: your details and what happened, used to look into it. We may share them with that tradie to help resolve it.

How we use it

• To run Tooli: show profiles, connect customers and Members, deliver messages, and check Members' ABNs and licences.
• Job posts are shown to Tooli tradie members. Your contact details are shown only to up to 5 members who choose to contact you about that job. We text your mobile a code to confirm the job is real.
• Member profiles (including the contact details Members choose to show) are public.
• To keep Tooli safe, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.

We don't sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run Tooli (hosting, database, payments, email), only for that purpose. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

Your choices

• Edit your details any time in your account. Close a job post once you've found someone.
• Ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account.
